The Annual Scholarship Reception
The Delta Zeta Alumni Foundation is pleased to announce the 2026 Annual Homecoming Scholarship Reception at the Marriott, University of Dayton. This year's keynote address will be given by our very own Brother and CSU Marauder Achievement Hall of Famer, Alvin D. Street. Tickets can be purchased using our Eventbrite page or by becoming a supporter.
As in previous years, the Foundation will present scholarships to deserving Central State students and recognize achievements of brothers and community leaders. The Scholarship Reception includes champagne reception, meal, music, and awards banquet.

The Delta Zeta Alumni Foundation Annual Scholarship Reception is a signature event held each year during Central State University’s Homecoming weekend, typically on the second weekend of October. This gathering brings CSU alumni together to celebrate academic excellence and award scholarships to students who demonstrate outstanding service and distinction in their fields of study.
First envisioned in 2013 by Brother Peter Gibbs ('83), the Foundation has proudly hosted the reception since 2014, awarding more than $120,000 in scholarships to over 50 students. Beyond honoring exceptional scholars, the Foundation also recognizes members of Kappa who excel not only professionally but also through meaningful contributions to their communities.
