The Annual Scholarship Reception

The Delta Zeta Alumni Foundation Annual Scholarship Reception is a signature event held each year during Central State University’s Homecoming weekend, typically on the second weekend of October. This gathering brings CSU alumni together to celebrate academic excellence and award scholarships to students who demonstrate outstanding service and distinction in their fields of study.

First envisioned in 2013, the Foundation has proudly hosted the reception since 2014, awarding more than $120,000 in scholarships to over 50 students. Beyond honoring exceptional scholars, the Foundation also recognizes members of Kappa who excel not only professionally but also through meaningful contributions to their communities.
